Accommodation
A range of accommodation may be booked through Ozaccom. The meetings venue, the Gold Coast International Hotel is in Surfers Paradise on the beautiful Gold Coast. Rooms are available at $143/day. Transport
Surfers Paradise is the heart of Australia's famous Gold Coast, a strip of coastline that stretches 70km north from the south-east corner of Queensland. Interstate visitors can access Surfers Paradise through Brisbane or Gold Coast Airports.
Gold Coast Airport
Qantas, JetStar and Virgin all have direct flights into the Gold Coast Airport at Coolangatta. It is approximately 20kms from the Gold Coast Airport at Coolangatta to the Surfers Paradise region. It is estimated that this trip should take about 20 minutes travel time by road.
The shuttle service meets every flight landing at the airport and will take you directly to your hotel.
Taxi
Follow the signs at the airport to the taxi rank outside.
Car hire
Within the terminal, there are agents for Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Red Spot and Thrifty.
Brisbane Airport
It is approximately 90kms (one hour drive) from Brisbane Airport to the Surfers Paradise region.
Airtrain service
With two express trains each hour direct to the Gold Coast, Airtrain (Airtrain) is a reliable and frequent option to reach the Gold Coast from Brisbane Airport. The train goes directly to the Gold Coast (Nerang Station) where you can catch a bus or taxi to your hotel).
From Brisbane to Surfers Paradise
Estimated travel time: 1 hour, 51 minutes. From Brisbane airport or any Brisbane city train station, catch the south-bound Gold Coast service, terminating at Robina. Exit this service at Nerang station and take the connecting Surfside Busline bus number 22 to Surfers Paradise.
From Surfers Paradise to Brisbane
Estimated travel time: 1 hour 40 minutes. Depart Surfers Paradise on the Surfside Busline bus number 22 to Nerang station. Catch the Brisbane city / Brisbane Airport train to desired destination.

Coachtrans operates door-to-door services to the Gold Coast via the Gateway Bridge to all hotels from Sanctuary Cove to Coolangatta.
All major coach operators (Greyhound, McCAffertys, Murrays, Kirklands and Suncoast Pacific) provide services to and from Surfers Paradise.
Taxi
Taxi ranks are located along various points at the Brisbane Domestic Terminal and on Arrivals Level 2 at the International Terminal.
Car hire
Within the terminal, there are agents for Avis, Budget, Hertz and Thrifty. Car hire costs are highly variable, but range upward from approximately $34.00 per day plus fees and taxes. Brisbane Airport is connected directly by the motorway to the Gold Coast.
